This handmade wool baby and toddler coat features a beautiful soft cream wool with a delicate blue and pink check, paired with a pretty floral cotton lining. Lovingly handmade in New Zealand from a repurposed 100% wool blanket, this unique Mabel Coat is a warm, comfortable choice for little ones through autumn and winter.
Every Mabel Coat has its own unique design and is finished with either a round hood, a pixie hood, or a classic collar. The style of each coat is shown in the product photos and description.
Naturally warm, breathable and comfortable, wool helps regulate body temperature while the soft cotton lining feels gentle against little ones’ skin. Designed for everyday adventures, the Mabel Coat is made to be loved now and handed down to younger siblings, cousins or friends for years to come.

This coat is ready to ship. Orders are dispatched within 3–5 working days and sent by tracked courier throughout New Zealand.
To help your Mabel Coat stay beautiful for years to come:
- Wash sparingly – only when needed
- Machine wash on a wool cycle using wool detergent.
- Dry flat.
- Warm iron on both the wool and cotton sides if required.
- Do not tumble dry.
Each Mabel Coat has its own story, created from a carefully chosen vintage wool blanket. Small variations in the fabric are part of what makes every coat unique.

Shipping Policy
Shipping is by tracked courier throughout NZ. Flat fee for all non-rural addresses. Additional charge for rural delivery. Please choose the correct shipping method or your item may not be sent until the correct shipping has been paid.
You can purchase additional products for no extra shipping cost.

Return & Refund Policy

Returns
You have 7 working days to return an item from the date you received it.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. Your item must be in the original packaging. Your item needs to have the receipt or proof of purchase.
Your returns, proof of damage/issue (or subsequent refund) need to be sorted between you and the vendor you bought the item from.
Refunds
Refunds are only given AFTER the vendor has been given the chance to replace your item at their cost.
Once the vendor receives your item or has received proof of the isue, they will inspect it and if applicable, notify you that they have received your returned item.
They will immediately notify you on the status of your refund after inspecting the item/your proof.
If your issue is confirmed by the vendor, they will replace your item within an appropriate timeframe.
If replacement is impossible they will initiate a refund to your credit card (or original method of payment).
You will receive the credit within 7-10 working days, depending on your card issuer’s policies.
Shipping
When returning an item to a vendor, you will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are nonrefundable.
If you receive a refund, the cost of the original order shipping cost will be deducted from your refund.
