Shipping Policy
How long do orders take to be processed?
All orders are processed within 3 to 5 business days (excluding weekends and holidays) after receiving your order confirmation. Some orders can often be processed a bit quicker depending on current order load. You will receive any other pertinent information towards the beginning, such as potential delays due to a high volume of orders or postal service problems that are outside of your control.
When your order has been shipped, you will receive a notification from us which will include a tracking number you can use to check its status. NZ Post target delivery time frame is 1-3 days but delivery time frame is subject to NZ Post policy and can be found on their website.

If your parcel has been delayed for more than 7 working days after your estimated delivery date, please contact us.
While we try our absolute best to get your order shipped out in time, once they leave our doors, it's up to the mailman. Sometimes there are unforeseen circumstances that could cause delays. Please be patient, your goodies will arrive soon.
Refunds will not be issued for packages that arrive late due to shipping delays.

- At Chickadee 3D Design, every cookie cutter is printed to order. Certain types of items cannot be returned. Custom products (such as special orders or personalised items) cannot be returned, and we do not accept change-of-mind returns. This is because we do not keep an inventory of cookie cutters on hand, and your order is custom printed just for you! Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item. We only accept returns for products that are faulty or damaged.
We have a 14-day return policy, which means you have 14 days after receiving your item to request a return.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right. Please be aware that damage due to overheating of the product will not be eligible for a refund. This is including but is not limited to; the item being placed into a dishwasher, oven, microwave, or subject to heat above 50'C that results in the product being deformed or melted.
**CUTTERS ARE HAND WASH ONLY** CUTTERS ARE NOT DISHWASHER SAFE AND CAN WARP IF EXPOSED TO HEAT/HOT WATER.
Cutter Care Instructions - Cutters and stamps are to be washed in warm soapy water ONLY. They are not dishwasher safe. They can also be damaged if left soaking in water for a long period. Please see care instructions - Cookie Cutters that are damaged due to misuse or exposed to heat will not be refunded or exchanged.
**Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.**

Return & Refund Policy Thanks for shopping at The Hive NZ. When shopping on our marketplace, you purchase directly from small kiwi businesses using our platform (see our Terms and Conditions). Please note that the below policy is what we will expect from our vendors – they are however able to edit and publish their own Returns and Refund policy on their store page. A vendor’s policy will always supercede the below. Returns You have 7 working days to return an item from the date you received it. To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. Your item must be in the original packaging. Your item needs to have the receipt or proof of purchase. Your returns, proof of damage/issue (or subsequent refund) need to be sorted between you and the vendor you bought the item from. Refunds Refunds are only given AFTER the vendor has been given the chance to replace your item at their cost. Once the vendor receives your item or has received proof of the isue, they will inspect it and if applicable, notify you that they have received your returned item. They will immediately notify you on the status of your refund after inspecting the item/your proof. If your issue is confirmed by the vendor, they will replace your item within an appropriate timeframe. If replacement is impossible they will initiate a refund to your credit card (or original method of payment). You will receive the credit within 7-10 working days, depending on your card issuer’s policies. Shipping When returning an item to a vendor, you will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are nonrefundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of the original order shipping cost will be deducted from your refund.
