Vendor Biography

Welcome to my plant corner!

I’ve always had a bit of a passion for growing things and a drive to create. Living in a smaller area meant I had to get a bit creative with my career once my children had grown, and turning my love for plants into a small business felt like the perfect fit.

The plants you see in my banner are just a glimpse into my collection—I love everything from Epiphyllums, Begonias, Hoyas, Dischidia and Ceropegia, to succulents. I’m always propagating and finding new favourites to share.

I’m severely deaf, a journey that’s had its share of hurdles—especially over the last decade. I’ve worn hearing aids for 20 years and received a Cochlear Implant in 2021. While the implant is a huge help, some situations (like phone calls) remain impossible for me. Because of this, I kindly ask that you reach out via TEXT or message rather than calling. I really appreciate the understanding!

This business is more than just selling plants; it’s my way of staying connected. Being deaf can sometimes make you want to shy away from the world, but the “plant people” I’ve met through markets and online sales have become great friends who share my interests (and my frustrations!).

I’m a firm believer in never standing still. Whether it’s mastering a new species or reflecting on my solo travels through Europe (that’s me at Neuschwanstein Castle in the photo!), I’m always learning, growing, and looking for the next challenge.

Thanks for stopping by and supporting my small business.
