Hi, I’m Leanne. I’m the maker behind Anna Lee Handmade, creating one-of-a-kind clothing and accessories for babies and children from my home in Taranaki, New Zealand.
I started Anna Lee Handmade while on maternity leave with my youngest child. After teaching myself to sew, I soon developed a passion for creating beautiful, practical pieces that families can enjoy for years. Every item is designed and handmade by me, either as a small batch or as a one-of-a-kind piece.
One of my favourite materials to work with is vintage and repurposed 100% wool blankets, transforming them into warm coats and reversible vests that are as sustainable as they are unique. During the warmer months, you’ll also find handmade cotton dresses, along with practical accessories including baby blankets and shopping trolley covers.
