Karla's Textile Design Lab

At karla’s textile design lab, textile design and art is my passion. I have been doing textile art in some form since I was a child. Making clothes, knitting, embroidery, and cross. After having my children, I delved into Patch work and quilting. I have spent many hours extending and developing my skills. In the process I have unlocked my creative side. I love the effect of free flow quilting. Sewing is soothing and great for mental health. And it is a practical skill, that has potential in environmental sustainability through upcycling. Over the years I have seen the skills in the general community diminish due to consumerism. I am excited to be bringing the skills back.
