Hi, I’m Kimberley, a stay-at-home mum, maker, and creative living on a lifestyle block in rural Canterbury, surrounded by olive trees and a very enthusiastic toddler.

I have a background in Fine Arts Photography, and a lifelong habit of making things with my hands. For a while that part of me went quiet, life got full and the creating slipped away. Gathered Olea is how I got it back.

Everything I make starts with a real person in mind. Someone who needs something to keep their hands busy. Someone who wants to make something beautiful with their child. Someone who sees a patch and thinks — yes, that’s me. I make things that earn their place in your everyday life, not sit forgotten in a drawer.

When I’m not sewing, stitching or printing, you’ll find me chasing my toddler, or planning the next thing I want to make.
