Pattern Story

It’s so easy to get caught up in being busy that we don’t give ourselves time to slow down, relax and just enjoy the beauty of nature. December I decided to grab my knitting and knit under the tree which is where I found inspiration for this design. With the cool breeze blowing and my hair in my face I wanted to create a headband that also reflected our re-brand and our values too. I sat down and started working on this once I got inside. Knitted in an interesting rib of waves they represent the ups and downs of

life. Worked with random seeds of purl stitches moving into the tranquil mountain ridges then worked with random seeds of purl stitches before heading back into the interesting rib to finish the headband. Knit your

headband up in any colour you find calming and tranquil. This headband was named tranquility after the rebranding of Cozy Woodland Cottage Knits lead to a change towards knitting for therapy and relaxation.
